Game : Golden Axe - Beast Rider System : Microsoft X-Box 360 Release Date : October 14, 2008 Status : Yep, Golden Axe from the days of the Genesis and Sega Master System had a sequel from Sega in 2008. Is it any good? If the reviews are to be believed, not really. Time to check it out for myself. And by the way, yep, the X-box 360 was discontinued on April 20, 2016. With the 7th generation of home video game consoles officially closing this year (2017), the X-box 360 has become obsolete as thus Retro. Game : Gun.Smoke System : Nintendo Entertainment System Release Date : 1988 Status : This is interesting, note that this game is NOT called Gun Smoke, its called Gun.Smoke (Gun dot smoke). I wonder if this was a licensing workaround. Anyway, I guess this was an attempt to get away from the 4.989 million space shooting games that came out during the Atari era. I say this because this game is exactly the same as a space shooter game (such as Galaxian), but with the wild west instead of space. Really fun! More Info : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun.Smoke
