In this video, I take a look at the classic, heavily-addictive puzzle game Tetris. Not only did this game break out of the Soviet Union during the last years of the Cold War, it helped launch Nintendo into the portable game industry with its inclusion in the Game Boy. Tetris has been recognized as a gaming phenomenon that started over 30 years ago and is still going strong to this day.
Featured in this video is Tetris for the Nintendo Entertainment System as well as the Tetris that launched with the Game Boy (as played on the Super Game Boy, Gameboy, and Gameboy Color). I may follow this video up with the many different versions of Tetris that came out in the 90s.
